The location of the flat is perfect for discovering the city. It is incredibly clean.

The second room is a child's room with a single bed.

Unfortunately, the apartment is very noisy at night, there are nightclubs under the windows.

Apartment: The apartment is spacious and comfortable with tasty design and decoration. It has everything you are looking for as staying at home. Location: In the middle of city, across the street from Teatro Massimo. Surrounding with many restaurants and shops and within walking distance to major attractions. Supermarket is about 500 metres away. The bus stop to train/bus station and Piazza Independenza (Norman Palace and bus stop to Monreale) is located few blocks away as well as Museum Salinas. The owner: Easy to contact, quick response with detailed information. She can arrange transfer to/from airport and train/bus station with reasonable price. She is very attentive to make sure that we had everything that we want and that made our 1 week stay at Palermo so wonderful and memorable.

As mentioned in many comments, the noise is one thing to concern. The owner has tried to solve this by putting double glass window in the master bedroom as a protection and it helps a lot. Prepare yourself an earplugs if you are sensitive to noise.

The single bed was quite small and not as super comfy as the double. Having said that it was adequate and I slept well.

Clean , very central , nice balcony view, excellent host Monica ,speaks good English and offered a great deal of local info . Close to all restaurants and markets also biggest theatre in Italy . Good location.

A little too noisy very late at night, also parking is difficult in the immediate area.

Very central location, friendly host, homey feel, elevator in the building, large apartment with many windows, host replaced broken electric kettle once discovered, washing machine present, big wardrobe and table, new windows installed to get rid of outside noise at night

Having a microwave would be nice, there is still some outside night noise coming through into the main bedroom even if all windows and doors are closed. I find it acceptable for sleeping, but i can see how it might be a problem for others. Shower water is hard to adjust not to be too hot or too cold.

The location of the flat is excellent, and convient to literally everything! Although we had read in a few reviews that there could be tourist noise at night, the additional set of double doors in the main bedroom really helped! ❣️
