We were able to collect the keys and get into the property relatively easily upon arrival. The communication weren’t great but largely reliable.

The place is really below par, especially for what it charges and presents online. The room smells like cigarettes. The WiFi hardly worked. The bath towels were unrecognizable and rock hard. The sheets and pillows were low quality and uncomfortable. We had to buy our own toilet paper and shampoo. Also, I happened to leave a few items behind and although it seemed the cleaning lady immediately collected them, the mgmt failed to notify me. They were also reluctant to send the items to our next hotel (at our cost) so we ended up driving for hours to fetch them. Of all the places (hotels or managed apartments) we have ever stayed, this is probably the most unprofessional and poor quality one. It gave us a terrible start and initial impression of our Sicily trip but thankfully the rest of the four hotels we stayed in were professional and lovely. Avoid this one at all cost - you are saving yourself a bad experience too!

Great location 100m from Teatro Massimo. We expected some noise overnight as the apartment was on a busy street but the sound insulation was excellent and minimised the noise. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a lovely balcony. Very well equipped, inicluding a washing machine, The owner met us at the property and she was lovely and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

No elevator

The property is right in front of one of Palermo’s main attractions. We arrived on the day of the Pride parade. The street was going to get closed and Giusy made sure we were not getting stuck outside in the chaos by warning us and allowing for an early check in. The apartment is superb but the access is not suitable for people with limited mobility. Three flights of stairs. The apartment has EVERYTHING you might need the kitchen is fully equipped and we found complementary water in the fridge. The rooms are spacious same as the bathrooms. Overall is an amazing place to stay.

The mattress of the double bed wasn’t too comfortable for my bad back.

Self-catering, but coffee pods were provided and there are so many great breakfast spots very close to the apartment! Spoiled for choice!

Location was good

We did not like the steep staircase to climb with our luggage. There was no lift. No mention of this in the advertisement. Did not like the bathroom right next to the kitchen and dining table! A busy road with noisy traffic.
