The Snug, a great flat in the heart of Peebles.

Comfy place

Nothing to dislike.

What I liked: - Location - it is in the heart of the beautiful Borders village of Peebles & The Snug is approx. 20 yards from the centre of the high street - perfect for meals out, browsing in the interesting local shops. - Great location for running - 1 minute to The Cuddy, head upstream, then onto the beautiful Venlaw woodland trails and many other walks/trails - Very cosy - but good sized living/kitchen and bedroom - Kitchen with plenty of utensils, fridge, microwave etc. - Good size table & chairs for eating/working - Great WiFi - Lovely hot water showers and plenty of soft towels available - 5-10 minute walk from local Sainsburys and Tesco stores

Minor suggestions: - Rubbish bags and bins don't work very well (kitchen bins didn't fit bags or need smaller bins) & more rubbish bags would have been handy. - No views from any of the windows, but the central location more than makes up for that. - The front door felt a little insecure.

I liked the location, the lighting and the kitchen. It is an ideal size for a couple. I liked the various accessories available eg cling film and olive oil. The heating was easy to control and the bedding/ towels available and extra blankets were appreciated. It's a super place to stay and has a special quality to it.

Hard to identify things not to like however I did have difficulty finding the code to gain access which was probably my fault? There were so many messages I used the Booking pin number by mistake lol. The door to the entrance is flimsy and the curtain provided doesn't provide sufficient privacy. The TV didn't work at all and needs checking. Not a deal breaker though some might be disappointed.
