Salerno e le due coste

The apartment building was located on a pedestrian street and short walk to/from the Salerno station and Basilica. It was very convenient to go day-trips and to explare Salerno. The apartment itself was super spacious with a well-equipped kitchen. The owner, Dario, was a great host who met us with a warm welcome and provided exceptional services. We had a wonderful stay here.

Éramos 2 adultos con una nena de 3 años. Destacamos la gran hospitalidad de Dario incluso antes de llegar. Se comunicó con nosotros para coordinar el encuentro en la estación de tren y llegar juntos al departamento. El lugar es súper cómodo, perfectamente equipado y con una ubicación bárbara para recorrer la zona o tomar algún transporte. Al llegar, nos esperaban algunos artículos de heladera de cortesía (agua, jugos, leche, etc) que nos vinieron perfecto porque llegamos tarde y necesitábamos salir a comprar. Otro punto que valoramos mucho es tener un lavarropas y mucho espacio para colgar ropa. Al momento de irnos llovía. Teníamos varias valijas y se nos complicaba más con la nena. Darío muy gentilmente se ofreció a llevarnos con su auto hasta la estación, y eso realmente nos salvó. Sin duda lo volveríamos a elegir.

Que los días se pasaron demasiado rápido.

Nicely updated apartment on lively main street convenient to cafes, shopping and the old town. 10 minute walk to the train station and 20 minute walk to the ferry to Amalfi. The host kindly left us some snacks and drinks and recommendations for good restaurants. The washing machine was also a great convenience.

This spacious apartment in a secured building is right on the pedestrian promenade central to all Salerno has to offer and just two blocks up from the Lungomare - the walkway in front of the beach. The bathroom and kitchen were nicely appointed. It is an easy walk to the train station, waterfront, Cathedral and many restaurants and shops in the old town. Our host Dario was amazing. He was waiting when we arrived, showed us everything in the apartment, turned over keys and left us refreshments in the refrigerator and light breakfast items. He came back one morning during our stay to drive us to the cruise port to meet an excursion we had booked. He also made accommodations for us to store our luggage after checkout and before we caught our train for Rome. He included several restaurant recommendations which we tried on two nights - the places were great.

We had a great time here. Dario was very attentive, he exchanged messages with us several times on the day of our arrival and during our vacation, we could contact him with any problem. The apartment is in a central location, close to the pedestrian street, the train station, the beach. The apartment is nice, clean, just like in the photos. On the first day Dario prepared water, biscuits, fruit juice for us... he was really attentive. On the last day, on the train, we noticed that we left our car key in the apartment. Dario immediately tried to help, found our key and sent it to us by mail. Dario, we thank you for everything again, we spent a very wonderful 4 days in Salerno.

The apartment was in a fantastic central location, 5 minutes walk from the train station and airport coach, and just a couple of minutes from the seafront. Dario was a great host, meeting us on arrival and letting us check in early. He also kept in contact with us throughout the stay to check all was ok. The apartment is really spacious and comfortable and could really be described as 2 bedroom as there is a cleverly designed area that turns into an enclosed second bedroom. Salerno is a great city with lots of character.
