Salerno is a hidden gem of a city in Italy. This apartment was fantastic, both near the downtown action, and the port. The city itself, not touristy, but truly authentic, rich with history and culture was a real surprise for us. We used this city as a stopover/center point to visit Amalfi and Positano via ferry -- in the end I think we liked Salerno more than those beautiful beachfront mountainside city's. On top of that, we had the BEST host ever! Dario really welcomed us, helped us get around, helped with recommendations, even drove us to another port and to the car park (to get our car) that he helped arrange for us. Dario went above and beyond! We loved the apartment and we loved Salerno!

Very cosy, spacious and private apartment. We had very good communication with Dario, who was welcoming and gave us recommendations on where to eat and what to see in Salerno.

Folks, this is an apartment in the heart of Salerno. Dario the owner is fantastic, he will explain everything about the apartment, guide you to the supermarket, good restaurants, local attractions and help you with anything. I would book again and we loved our stay at Salerno e le due coste. Thank you Dario.

Very centrally placed apartment with fairly good living space and equipment. Host was very helpful and made sure we go settled and up to date on the apartment and surrounding areas.

As the apartment was situated in central Salerno and sound proofing was fairly bad for the window/balcony doors, the morning traffic was a bit disturbing since the Italians honk the horn a lot and working crews use power equipment.

The apartment was very clean, beautifully designed and located at the perfect spot. The owner Dario was the best host and helped us finding our way, kept really interesting goodies for us before we arrived and recommended really good food. This apartment really felt like a home. Everytime I will go to Salerno, this is the place I will be booking.
