I booked on line. Communication was good and all the information I needed was clear. When we arrived we were met and given the keys and shown around. The studio was exceptionally clean and had everything you could need for your stay. Lots of extras and everything of good quality. Victoria lodge is in an excellent location in sandown. Walking distance to everything. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it too.

The check in and check out times were more suitable to us

We arrived 1hr earlier than check in time, hoping to just drop off some bags, and were greeted by the hosts Suzanne and Terry who said the room was already ready. TV isn't very modern with Netflix (well not to my knowledge), but has all the regular channels, a DVD player, and a whole communal stack of DVD's, books & board games. I consider this a massive plus!! A break from screens if you need it! Wifi is available however and works well. On a rainy day we played board games & puzzles all day and watched a couple of movies. The place is spotless, kitchen has a coffee machine, kettle, microwave, oven, toaster, fridge, freezer, and cooking utensils etc. And there are two small supermarkets, plus a whole heap of cafes and restaurants literally round the corner. Beautiful beach, activity centre and wildlife park just down the road. One more thing, the shower is lovely & hot and consistent, unlike the reviews from other hotels in the area who claim it is hit and miss. Thanks for a great stay!
