"Excellent stay, would recommend"

Very close to the beach, lovely location for families or friends. Nearby shops to buy things easily. Beds were very comfortable.

We stayed on the 2nd floor, lot of stairs. Elderly people might struggle with this, other than that it was great.

"Great location, great stay"

This is the second time we’ve now stayed at Victoria Lodge the apartment we had was for three people. It had more than enough space with great facilities. The owners of the property are very lovely and nice to talk to. We will be staying again next year as it’s a great location to get to other parts of the island within 10 to 20 minutes.

Spacious and a lot of natural light. Close to bus stops, high street , beach. Had all the needed amenities.

Host was lovely and friendly, did a short tour and explained a few bits (bins, other facilities etc), she was also great at giving suggestions for things that were nearby to do. In the main entrance there is a huge variety of leaflets and information about the island which was really useful. There was also a huge shelf of books, board games,(adults and kids) puzzles, cards and a pile of buckets and spades and sand toys. These were all free to help yourselves to. The apartment itself was beautifully clean and tidy and in very good repair. There was even a safe And a coffee machine with pods supplied!! The towels were lovely quality too!!

One of the double beds could use a mattress topper but that was the only thing!! Saying that it could also have just been that we like our mattresses at home!!

"A lovely place to stay"

Victoria lodge is a super space, excellently equipped, great location. We enjoyed our stay there. Easy walk to the sea front and hi street. Great to have a parking space. Sandown it's self is in need of a bit of TLC but still a great beach and walk all the way to Shanklin.
