Residenza Valentino

Very nice Italian apartment nestled in the hills above Locarno. Brione is a very pretty area with incredible views over the lake, and there’s a convenient bus connection into town. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with a comfy bed, and is right next to an excellent restaurant.

The listing shows photos of two different apartments - we thought we had a balcony but this was the other apartment.

We liked the area, the interior, it was clean.

We stayed at Nino apartment. Firstly, in the description is missing information that the living room and bedroom are on the upper floors and stairs are steep and not easy for elder persons. Only the kitchen and bathroom are on the ground floor. My father is 87 years old and had difficulty to get up on to the upper floor every time. Secondly, in the description there is terrace/balcony, which is missing. There was the outdoor dining area, it is correct, but there is no any terrace/balcony. Regarding the public parking - it is very close, but payment is only with coins in CHF, no cards, good to know in advance.
