Mau House 44 Apartment

We loved staying at Mau House, dead in the center of Palermo yet in a relatively quiet and peaceful neighborhood - big plus for the location, in other words. Also the charming host, Maurizio, was very welcoming and gave us loads of great advice tailored to our personal preferences. What we appreciated immensely were the quality of the beds and how well the apartment was equipped - more than you could ever need, in our opinion. We even got extra help from Maurizio, who let us stock our luggage at the apartment for 4 hours after usual check-out time. Great pleasure to stay at Mau's and next time, hopefully, we'll be able to stay a bit longer!

We had an amazing time at Maurizio's apartment. It has an amazing authentic cozy atmosphere with everything you need for your pleasant stay. We recommend it 100%, especially for it's great location historic Palermo city center.

Beautiful, cosy and very comfortable apartment in the best location in Palermo. Located in the beautiful Kalsa area, near lovely restaurants and bars. Maurizio is a fantastic host and very kind person who gave us great recommendations for our stay. Great value for money. Very comfortable beds and perfect, central but quite location. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back.

Located in the walking distance to all attractions, small, clean apartment with a nice terrace. Maurizio met us in the apartment, provided us with the city map and explained all attractions in details. I want to mention that the bedroom is located on the second floor, while the bathroom is on the first floor. For us it was not a problem.

We have been in Palermo a couple of times, but Maurizio's appartement was the best accomodation we have seen! If you have the chance to stay here: do it! Maurizio is very kind and helpfull. He knows Palermo well and has loads of good advices for your stay. He was further very flexibel when we had some organizational issues. Thanks for your hospitality!

This was a fantastic apartment, more likely a house. It has 2 terraces, 1 overlooking a small piazza in La Kalsa (the best area in Palermo always !), another one is linked to the bedroom upstairs and has covered sheets, sofa,... wow ! Maurizio is very helpful and experienced in providing you with some information, you have everything you need in his explanation. Our daughter slept downstairs in the sofabed, we upstairs in a nice upper room. Everything is there to make your stay comfortable, and it is all well decorated. We will soon return !
