Studio 16A Vasil Aprilov 64 - Plovdiv

The studio was perfect. Had everything you needed. The location is great. Stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. Walked almost everywhere in Plovdiv. But also buses are only 1 lev per ride. Cash payable to conductor. There a sushi place less than 1 min walk away. A Cafe downstairs (not the best coffee tho). A supermarket 24hrs about 5 min walk. Plovdiv is a great base to explore the surrounding towns and spots. Check in and check out was a breeze. The owner is a great guy. Always ready if you needed anything. Tip: the lock on the top - key comes out vertically. Lock on the bottom - key comes out horizontally

Meanvhile I've been few times accomodated in this building in different apartments, however, this time was different as killed few cockroaches two nights sequentially. There wasn't food or food rest in the room that can them entice. Seems this cockroach issue is old as there were device for dislodge insects. I informed the host, and he said that this is impossible, and the anti-insect device is there as for dislodging pigeons. Not really credibly for me.

The location was perfect for all of my needs, the apartment was clean and had modern furnishing. The host was also very friendly and helpful.

The pillows and mattress were of poor quality. Out of my three day stay only one day I had hot water. The remaining days the water was ice cold which made showering very difficult and the water tank meter stayed at the same level. Furthermore, as the apartment is high up there are birds that nest at the top and make a lot of noise during the early hours making it difficult to sleep. Also there was no kettle and only one towel was provided which was of poor quality.

The owner is very kind helpfull

Supermarkets 10 minutes walk, bus stops on the corner

Fridge very noise, noise from pigeons on the roof, no suitable power sockets near the bed, dishes cleaning sponge was not provided

The host is super friendly and responsive. As for the apartment itself, it's pretty new and nice, and you'll everything you need for a comfortable stay - towels, iron, hairdryer, washing machine, TV with Netflix subscription. The location is nice as well.

Honestly speaking, it was super dirty. Like it has already been mentioned in other reviews, it's a strong sewer smell in the bathroom and the whole apartment. It looks like a toilet is just leaking and should be fixed. But it seems that the host ignores the problem. And... the cockroaches. I definitely didn't expect to see so many of them.
