"We wouldn’t want to stay there again unless the above problems were sorted."

We liked the area and that it was near the station and also the high street.

No tongs, frying pan or bottle opener in the kitchen. Also tea leaves to use but no strainer. Only 5 dining chairs but being let for six people. Settee was extremely uncomfortable and not room for six people. No little table either to put drinks on. Downstairs bedroom had terrible mattresses very uncomfortable. Could do with some drawers in there to. The double bedroom upstairs also had an awful mattress and very low bed. Could do with a set of drawers as well. There was parking for one car but we had two. The street is residents only parking but we were residents for the time there so why not have a permit for people when staying. Quite cold in the house to. If families are wanted to rent the house out the garden should be somewhere for children to play.

The location of the property was good. Rooms were adequate, but the layout was quite difficult downstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped and cooking equipment was good.

The decoration was in need of redoing. The property looked quite shabby in terms of decoration and we had a leak through the dining room ceiling when the bath was emptied which meant we could not use the bath or dining room lights after this. There were only 5 dining chairs when we had booked for 6 people. It was difficult to get a response from the owners and we are still awaiting the return of our refundable deposit and would ideally like some compensation for the inconvenience caused by the leak during our stay.

The house is compact but all the rooms are spacious for 6 pax. The heating system is very good. The kitchen, laundry facilities are great. The best thing abt this place is it is very near to the mall, shops and restaurants!! Very convenient and near to Heathrow Airport too. The management is very responsive and helpful.

Owners changed this property 6 days before we were due to stay here for Christmas. Downgraded to a property with one bathroom. Owners promised a £25 refund. They haven't been in touch since. I specifically booked the above property for 2 bathrooms for 6 adults and one baby! The new property main oven didn't work. Christmas Dinner cooked in a grill. Downstairs toilet leak at back, carpet badly stained. Disgusting. TV remote didn't work all the time. Water waste from upstairs shower and kitchen blocked so soiled water spilling out all of patio area. Property looks in desperate need of some TLC. Badly kept. I now would like compensation of £175. If I haven't heard back from owners in 48 hours. Then I'd like booking.com to advise next step.
