Great, secure very peaceful rural location with all the amenities you might need. Spacious cottage, fully equipped kitchen. Very welcoming and helpful host. Delicious home made cookies for breakfast are included. Not to mention that the host leaves some local specialities (salami & mozzarella) in the fridge. There was also coffee, milk, bread and jams available on our arrival. Great base for exploring the region of Abruzzo. We will definitely be returning here.

Little piece of heaven, gorgeous historic house in a lovely garden. So tranquil, the best night's sleep we have had in Abruzzo. Very generous breakfast, everything spotlessly clean and a well equipped kitchen. Thoughtful and professional host

There is a steep incline from the bridge down to the house, our car is very low - Peugeot 508 - so we were worried to drive down it. Luckily the thoughtful host has provided car parking spaces on the other side of the bridge

Really lovely remote place. The house was spacious, felt homey, clean and very well equipped with everything you might need for a self-catered stay. We spent there a couple of nights and felt very comfortable. Surroundings are very quiet, the owners were great, helping us to find the place, leaving a few recommendations, maps and answering our questions – even though they were not fluent English speakers, we managed to get everything we needed and they certainly put the effort in. Home made baking (with full allergens list!) was the nice touch.

Because of the nature of the area (mountains, remote), it may be quite hard to find the house even with GPS – the turn is easy to miss and is not sign posted; the road also did not feel right (however, the owner came to meet us). Further, even though the house is well equipped, the fridge was a bit small for us (3 people). And while baked goods was a nice touch (and very tasty!), the breakfast could be richer considering that there is no shop around to pop in, especially if staying more than one night.
