Loved staying in the middle of the historical village.

Pillows need to be upgraded. Bed was quite hard

It was fantastic to stay in a place with atmosphere and history

A bit more cooking utensils and bigger fry pan

Charming apartment. Well located and quiet. Well equipped and comfortable. Recommended.

Some aspects of the clever interior design fall short. Super hot water is not indicated and could scald the unwary. Bathroom was too cold to be comfortable.. All.windows need curtains.- to cut daylight and to provide more privacy.

Easy to find and access. Lots of character inside, loves the rock walls. Everything you need in terms of kitchen, table etc.

It was cold. There was a heating panel but I could have done with more heating/ it was a very cold and wet day though!

The location within the old part of the village was great and the people were friendly.

For non-portuguese speakers such as, us the property was very hard to find. Google maps took us to the wrong street and we needed to enlist the help of local people to find the address. It wS still difficult for them. The second issue is a Booking.com one. We wished to extend our stay by one night. It is much harder to do this than it should be.

Very charming and cozy property.

As my stay was during the cold season, the hot water in the shower ran out after the second shower.

With its old-style walls and the fact that it's built right into the sloping terrain, the house perfectly captures the essence of the mountain village Belmonte. Parts of the rock face are still visible inside and become part of the wall decoration. Being a souterrain room it stays cool during the summer and makes for a cozy little cave.

The room is in the souterrain of a larger building, with another accomodation on top of it. The ceiling is not very soundproof so if the tenants above you are loud you can easily hear them. Not a problem with earplugs but something to be aware of.

Location and the stone historic vibe

I have nothing negative to say. Only that online it said there were Toiletries but there weren't. It was the perfect little spot
