Nice and clean!!

Clean house, great kitchen facility, dining table, very comfortable bed and linen. The large window allow aurora gazing. Town is within walking distance.

No frequent direct bus reaching the property. Need to walk up a slope every time going back home.

We had an awful experience during our stay. We traveled from Costa Rica, and just before our arrival, the "manager" (Nils) contacted us to inform us that the apartment we booked was unavailable due to maintenance issues. This clearly demonstrates poor management, as properties listed on Booking.com should not be offered if they cannot be delivered as promised. Nils offered to drive us to another apartment, calling it an "upgrade." While we appreciated the gesture, we couldn't confirm if it was truly an upgrade. The real disappointment came when we were forced to pay for parking, which was far from cheap. The listing was misleading, as it clearly stated that parking was "free." Nils assured us we would receive a refund, but despite contacting him multiple times via WhatsApp, he NEVER responded. This lack of communication is unacceptable. I had to escalate the issue through Booking.com, and although I eventually received a partial refund for the parking charges (over 1000 NOK, nearly $100), it wasn’t enough to fix the damage to our experience. This situation left a very negative impression of Norway and how tourists are treated. I’ve used Booking.com for years and never encountered such unprofessionalism. I hope other travelers don’t face similar issues, as this level of irresponsibility is damaging to both the platform and the landlord’s business.

Good location, heating worked well, good kitchen with all amenities you needed.

I was moved from this property 2 hours before checking in, to another property. This one came with extensive instructions on how to locate the apartment…it was not clear which apartment I needed to go to as the number provided was on 2 different doors. Which the key didn’t work. I had to find alternative accomodation for the night as it took over 1hour with still no answer. The cleaner helped me the next day to find the apartment. Perhaps signage on the door would be more useful for future guests.

Really nice, tidy, clean apartment for us to enjoy during our stay. Fully equipped for everything we’d needed. Found no issues with our stay, but be aware it is uphill from the nearest bus stop if you intend on walking a lot! That being said, fantastic location and nothing is too far away on foot.
