Sunset Waves 18-35 Poniente Beach Resort

Beautiful 3 bedroomed apartment, superb views of sea from large balcony with 6 seater dining table, patio chairs & sofa. Full size fridge freezer, induction hob, fan oven, microwave, dishwasher & washing machine, all good quality. Great air con, comfortable beds, large en suite to main bedroom, lots of storage. Great large swimming pool as well as smaller pool for more serious swimmers, decent gym, 3 jacuzzis, children’s pool, free tennis & paddle tennis court, football pitch, table tennis, (need to bring own equipment though). Decent reasonably priced pool bar with friendly staff. Not a lot of Sunbeds but easy to get up to mid-day.

Had to collect keys from safe at booking agents, over a mile away at midnight. Absolutely no instructions on how to get into Sunset Waves or where the apartment was, not ideal after a long journey. Only 4 bands in safe & agents even wanted us to go back for the other 2 - I refused & they did deliver them. Ridiculous prices for loss of bands €50, same for towel etc. Extremely strict lifeguards, no inflatables, no drinks round pool, not even water. Very much geared to residents & gave the impression that holidaymakers were not really welcome. Not one single instruction in the apartment as to how things worked, eg air con (which we never really got the hang of), induction hob, where to put rubbish, & no contact details if we had a problem. Found out after a few days there was a concierge office but no-one was ever in it - phone number given but was hours before someone came, then it was a Manager who told us in no uncertain terms that we couldn’t leave our luggage on the premises on our last day even though we had a late flight & we also had to be out of the complex by 11am! Luckily I had it in writing that we could stay on the last day, so we did - leaving management & agents to sort it out. Only sheets on bed, could do with a light quilt or blanket.

La casa es tal cual se ve en las fotos, grande bonito, terraza espectacular con vistas increíbles. Una casa que merece mucho la pena. Repetiría

Eché en falta que alguien me recibiera en la casa y explicara cosas como: cómo entrar y salir del garaje que es complicado, persianas…

Las instalaciones de la urbanización

Segunda vez que nos alojamos aquí y ha ido a peor. El lavavajillas no está sujeto y se viene hacia delante, el carro de abajo del lavavajillas va mal. No había alfombras para la ducha, tenía que poner toallas. No dejaron si quiera una pastilla de jabones para las manos.Tampoco hay almohadas de más por si las necesitas para dormir más alto. La mesa de la terraza está fatal. Para el precio que tiene (subió una barbaridad desde la primera vez que me aloje en el 2022) está muy mal cuidado. Nosotros vamos por el edificio en si, no por este apartamento en concreto .De hecho el año pasado estuve en otro en el mismo edificio. Aunque últimamente la gente que se aloja le falta respeto a las normas de las instalaciones.
