Apartment Varenna Dream

Lots of room, balcony, comfortable living room, baked goods and wine provided for us to enjoy during our stay.

Hard to figure out the washing machine but we eventually did after calling for help. Did not attempt using the dishwasher!

Very spacious and very clean! Kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped! We had a lovely dinner on the balcony overlooking the pretty houses on the hills! The kind staff who helped us check in also gave us the best recommendations for food in Varenna, do take his advice! The location was great, but note that if you google how to walk there from the pier, you have to lug your suitcases up some stone stairs and it's a struggle. However, if you turn left at the pier, walk to the end of the path (you'll be at a little park/tree area and will see a little stream) and then turn right and walk up the slope instead, the walk to the road the apartment building is on is much much much smoother and easier. There's also a small grocers shop on the street to the right nearer the hills that has fresh baked/cooked goods everyday and a good selection of wine and little italian treats!

The wifi stuttered a tiny bit but it was fast when it worked (90% of the time)

Everything!!! Excellent appartment condition was like brand new. Spotlessly clean. Views superb. Excellent service met on time st appartment.

The apartment was perfect. Great location from which to explore Lake Como. Extremely spacious. We slept in the 2nd bedroom because it had the best view !! Highly recommended.

It's worth knowing the only full size supermarket is at Menaggio, but you can visit there by ferry easily on your first day. The small grocery stores in Varenna are nice but very limited in range of food. when you have an apartment you usually want to cook ! We couldn't get the washing machine cycle under 1.5hrs. A bit of info on programming it would help.

like a master kitchen with all good quality kitchen utensils plus many bottles of seasonings, olive oil plus a pack of pasta, a bottle of champagne, delicious local fruit pies ... all the information booklets for tourists, including umbrellas, torch etc. clean rooms. the apartment in a secured flat with walking distance to the train and ferry station. it is truly above our expections!

The apartment was very clean and spacious. The beds were really comfortable and it was a very quiet area, which resulted in a good night sleep. The location was perfect for the train station and ferry.

WiFi didn't appear very fast and some kitchen utensils we would expect to be available were not in the apartment. This would certainly not prevent us from staying there again.

Everything was clean and luxurious. We were minutes from the ferry terminal and a short walk to a little market and cafe. The beds were especially outstanding quality.

Great location with beautiful views. Apartment was spotlessly clean and lovely. A plus…they left a bottle of Prosecco and snacks.
