Apartment Varenna Dream

We love everything about this place! location wise is so convenient close to public transport i.e. train station, ferry and boat. Service was tip top. Highly recommended for family vacay.

Lovely apartment in a great location. It was just a short walk from the train station to get to the apartment. We had wheeled cases and so stuck to the road to avoid the slight shorter route which had some steps. The town centre was maybe 5 minutes walk and the ferry terminal was just a couple of minutes away. We were met by our host with the keys and were soon settling in. The rooms in the apartment were a good size (bigger than expected) and some had a lake view. The was a balcony which just fitted the three of us plus a table. Everything was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped (2 coffee makers, sandwich toaster, gas hob, microwave/combination oven, kettle, fridge) plus all the pots and pans, cutlery, etc. that we needed. There was also some food provided to help us settle in. Leaving the apartment was also simple, just a quick message to the host via booking.com to arrange a time to check-out. There are lots of places to eat and drink in Varenna, however, in May when we visited, lots of them closed at 20:00. The cafe at the train station, plus the one on the way to the station (via the steps) were our favourites and not as crowded as the places in town.

Apartment Varenna Dream was presented so well. Beautifully clean & fresh. Great location, very close to train station and ferry pier, as well as easy walk to central town area and waterfront promenade. Excellent communication with host, very quick to respond always.

Excellent location with ferry only a few minutes walk away. Spacious apartment for 4 with amazing lake and mountain views. Shame we were only there for 2 days. Communication was great and allowed us early check in last minute as our plans changed. Absolutely loved it!

Wow, this apartment is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in, basically faultless! The place is spotlessly clean and perfectly located next to the train station and ferry. Most importantly it is very well stocked for a rental apartment. The kitchen had small but essential items such as salt, pepper and oil and dishwasher tablets, which is crucial in a village with only one small shop. There is also a washing machine with liquid tabs. The views are pretty stunning too!
