Authentic Oasis - Villa La Solara

Staff and host were friendly. Great value and pricepoint within Anicapri. However it is up the hill, so be prepared to carry your luggage a bit!

Bathroom smelled a bit like sewage. Also, the bathroom sink was somewhat broken. I would recommend keeping the bathroom window open to air things out.

Hospitality of owner, location, terasa...

Some small things which owner can fix easy and fast, like board on toilet salt or shower...

Host was very helpful. Thanks for the umbrellas. Some kitchen facilities were available. Fridge, toaster oven. Coffee maker and kettle.

Smelled a bit musty. It had been raining for days, and thst might have contributed to the smell.

Dario is a great and pleasant host, very comunicative, we found a place well - according the description in the messages. The place is calm, everything looks like on the pictures and we especially liked the heating mattress and the room heating, because we cought a rainy day and we were really cold:) La Solara is close to the bus stop, to the funicular and aall the restaurants, so it has everything you need. If I come again to Capri, I would like to stay again at La Solara!

The kindness of our host, the room itself (room 2), the terrace and exposure, with a large bathroom. Bed was comfy and the heated blanket inside very convenient, as it was quite cool when we were there. Ideal location in Anacapri. Thanks for finding me an electrical adapter for my computer.

Nothing. Just need to be aware that is a bit of a steep slope to get up to the house, thereforenot ideal when walking with heavy luggage. But we knew and managed! Daily exercise done! :-)

When you have the price in mind it’s perfect. Friendly and welcoming host, clean but rustic bathroom and an amazing view. Perfect start point to explore Anacapri and go hiking. We would book again.

Lovely host - great maps and suggestions, very cute dog (who is very playful, just a heads up if you're not a dog person). The kitchen had a fridge and a kettle with some tea. Lovely private terrace with table and chairs. Great location to the shops, restaurants and bus stop (which is essential in Anacapri!)

The bed and pillows weren't very comfortable. The shower didn't work - most of the water was coming out of the hose. However we didn't tell the host until the end because we weren't there for long.

The room didn't hold basic standards. The rust and mould was everywhere. Didn't have a functional window, just a terrace door which suppous to have same funktion, but the problem was that we couldn't keep the door open due to the unleashed dog which would walk in. We moved out after just one night and the owner promised to refund for the 2 remaining nights. After many calls back and forth with booking support finally we got refund for only one night. Huge disappointment!
