BOTANIC DUPLEX TERRACE 5 PAX

Full of character in a great location. We were surprised by some of the previous negative reviews as found the property great, clean and comfortable. The terrace is lovely. Maria was a very helpful host.

Our host was great, very attentive and nice.Apartment was clean and in a great location. We loved the terrace and being able to see and hear the Giralda.

Location was great.

- The showers are not properly attached, - no shower gel or any type of soap. - The only sofa in the house is really uncomfortable. - I would not suggest this place for elderly people as the spiral staircase is quite narrow and hard to go up and down .

Beautiful apartment in a fabulous central location - 2 steps from the Giralda. Bars and restaurants very close by but the street was very quiet. The central patios at the entrance are gorgeous. The lift was appreciated. Lovely roof terrace. The apartment had everything we needed and with a supply of cleaning products/tea/coffee etc. Check in was easy once we received the instructions of where to collect the keys. We had a lovely 3 night stay and would definitely stay again. The spiral staircase might not be suitable for small children or the less mobile though. For airport taxis good idea to specify the nearest main road i.e Calle Alemanes as these streets are not meant for cars. When we left we used the Locker in the City bag drop up the road at C. Alvarez Quintero which was very simple to use booked in advance and accessed by a code. We had very nice breakfasts at Gusto, El Pinton and Aba de Sevilla which are all within 5 mins. Tapas bars - too many to mention but loved Pelayo. Cocktails on the roof at La Terraze del EME highly recommended too for the view of the Giralda at night. And don't miss a walking tour of the Barrio Santa Cruz/Jewish Quarter.

Colour coding the keys would be a nice idea. We struggled a bit finding the right one for the right door at times, but that probably wasn't helped by the Orange Wine :)

The flat was stylish with a great antique vibe. Location fantastic. Communication with the owner was great.

We would have liked a double bed but it wasn't a problem.

location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city. Beautiful views from the terrace on the top level and the kitchen was small but had mostly everything we needed.

The host requested we turn the air-conditioning off. As it was the middle of summer and 42 degrees outside, this seemed an odd request. The upstairs shower was also broken which made it difficult.

The apartment location was very convenient and in a nice area.

The stairs leading up to the first floor was dangerous you had to walk up sideways, the upstairs bathroom looks like a shack with horrible drainage smell. The downstairs beds were rock hard, not comfortable, there were not enough seats for 5 people in main living area, the kitchen side was full of ants every morning, the airconditioning was awful and apartment boiling (the host did send someone to fix this) it worked a little better after this I sent a WhatsApp to confirm it worked better then out of the blue she text me to say it’s important she knew so was going round the the apartment now, I politely told her I did not wish to have anyone in the apartment whilst I was out!
