EasyRentals Central Tallinn Apartments by Tallinn University

This location was not the location I had selected. Not only was it shabbily furnished, it was on a busy street, leaving the windows open on a warm day meant traffic noise and fumes. This was a bait and switch, I did not get the accommodation Inwas confirmed, and although given the info about the “change” in location, the photo attached to message always showed my original choice.

As mentioned above, it was on a very noise street, the furnishings were shabby, and carrying suitcases up an old winding staircase was not easy. This property would be fine for college students and travelers who didn’t care about hanging out in the place.

Good location, and the apartment offered enough space. A supermarket is just across the street.

The location is directly in front of the University. This is really good if you are visiting for work there. Because it's in front of the university, it also has the number 3 tram line directly outside as well as several buses. It's very convenient to use the tram to come back because it drops you off directly at the entrance. However, the city is very walkable, so you may not even need it. The Old Town is reachable within 17 minutes or less by walking. The location is also close to the number 1 bus stop, which takes you north east. You can walk to Kadriorg park and museum as well within a few minutes. Although I didn't use all the facilities, the apartment did have a fridge, a washing machine, a TV, a hob, an electric kettle, and the sofa is a sofa bed. Two bath towels and a tea towel are provided too. The rack for hanging coats near the door has a small horizontal rod that you can hang towels and wet clothes to dry from. The shower room is big enough as it extends a bit outwards from the flat.

The space was small. The apartment is laid out as an approximately 3.5m X 3m living room with kitchen and couch with one corner used by the shower and toilet, and a small ~1m wide room that just houses a bed of exactly the same width as the room. The living room has space for a small movable table but it isn't comfortable to use a laptop (no space for chairs), so no working in the apartment (this was mostly ok because I could go work outside at the university or the city). This small space gets quite warm in summer (a portable fan is provided). Although the location is good, you may not want to keep the windows open because the sounds of cars from the street can be loud, so I would recommend ear plugs (they are provided too) because it gets too warm otherwise. Hot water runs out fast in the shower (maybe it's shared with other apartments). For summer this didn't matter, but I imagine showering in winter would not be pleasant. The bed and couch are ok, but not very comfortable.

From the outside, it's a quaint old apartment building (pre-Soviet, I'd say). Inside, though, it's all modern. It's a great little suite for a solo traveler or couple. There are plenty of shops within walking distance, and Tallinn University is just across the street. Bus and light rail stop right by the apartment. While staying, a walk to Nurri Kassikohvik (Cat Cafe) is highly recommended.

Narva Maantee is one of the main roads through Kesklinn (Tallinn's downtown district), so you'll hear some sounds from outside, but it's really quiet compared to what you'd encounter on a major road in most cities.

By accident bought this hotel, the price was 28 Euro in app, afterwards they charged me +39 euro taxes. I was very tired to rebook anything so I stayed one night

Good location, comfortable bedding, good-sized TV in the living room, good Wifi.

Very bad smell came from the bathroom during our entire stay here and started before our arrival, we were able to close the door but the smell still penetrated the apartment. Early check-in included a 20€ fee, which was surprising as the apartment was empty that morning. The apartment was quite small for a “superior” price.
