North Beach Road

The property was very good and clean with nice pots and plates for cooking and eating. I liked the whiskey glasses the owner truly value his clients who are drinking matured whiskeys. It is closer to the beach and you can able to view the beach while sitting in the veranda. I also enjoyed the overnight sound of the beach it gives you that peaceful sleep and atmosphere.

We didn’t able to watch TV the signal was not perfect, improvement of the DSTV signal is needed. No WIFI access as shown on the bookings.com and the owner didn’t respond to us when we ask about it. We just felt that we are under rated because of the colour maybe?

The pools were very clean, and the house was clean and spacious too.

The lift, oh my God. It takes forever to come and takes forever to go down. Please change bedding into white linen, that bedding is very ugly.

The accomodation was home away from home yet with all the holiday's s top notch necessities. I can't wait to go back again.

Nothing at all, in fact everything surpassed my expectations.

The view of the ocean and the distance to the beach.

We had no dstv the entire week. I'm still waiting for the host to get back to me since the 1st day we checked in about the dstv. The AC did not work the entire week. The bedrooms have black mold infestations as well as mold mites. Tiny little bugs that you would mistake for a mark on the wall that turned out to be mold mites crawling all over. There is no ventilation which results in the mold. The air is hard to breathe in and affected my sinuses. The bed is rock hard and the bedding smells of mold. Paint is peeling on the walls but according to the host the place gets painted once a month. I booked on the 31st of August so the fact that the place looked like that on the 2nd of October was shocking. There was more than enough time to get the place ready for us. The place was cleaned only once the entire week which didnt help as the mold mites were still there all week and at first the cleaner only wanted to clean when we checked out. We had to pull the bed away from the wall so that the bugs don't crawl on the bed. No towels were changed and the towels that were there had marks on them. We ran out of hot water twice while showering. The windows and sliding door is really hard to open. It's very noticeable that the place is old and just painted over with a few new additions. Not much in the place is as the pictures show. The night stands were broken so they would wobble every time you put something on it. The bathroom is really uncomfortable as it has no place to put your clothes on while showering and had dead bugs stuck to the ceiling. No heads up about load shedding on the ad, so we were caught off-guard. The host was not accommodating at all and got defensive about the condition of the place. As i say i am still waiting for him to get back to me since day 1 and it's already a week ago since we checked in however on the day of check out he was bright and early to call and ask if we had checked out.
