Center Apartment, Vilnius, Old Town

We stayed one night at this apartment in Vilnius with our two young daughters and were thoroughly disappointed, especially considering the cost of over €100 for a single night. The apartment was in an unacceptable condition. The shower was mouldy, the toilet was dirty, there were visible mascara stains on the pillowcases, and the floor had clearly not been cleaned. The Wi-Fi was not working at all during our stay, which added to the inconvenience. The apartment was also extremely cold. There was only one small portable radiator available, which had to be shared between the bedroom and the living area — completely inadequate for the size of the space, especially with children. Most concerning of all, the owner’s mother let herself into the apartment using her own keys before 10:00 AM, while we were still inside — despite check-out being between 10:00 and 12:00. Although she apologised, she remained in the apartment and engaged in conversation with myself rather than leaving. This made it very uncomfortable for us to finish packing and leave, particularly with two small children. For the amount paid, we expected significantly better cleanliness, working basic amenities, proper heating, and above all, respect for our privacy. We would not recommend this property.
