The GreeNest Vintage Lodging

I'll start with the fact that the location is not intended for the luxury seekers. The apartment is located in an old building, with inner courtyard. Don't expect luxury, but expect a clean place fitted with everything you need for your stay. Subway stations are pretty close, 5-8 minutes walking distance. City center is at 30-45 minutes walking and it's a pleasure to take the walk among the old buildings. I have found parking spots on the street in front of the building, 50 meters away from the entrance. The parking is free during the legal holidays. The overall experience was ok and if we come back to Budapest, The GreeNest Vintage Lodging will be on top of the list to host us.

The downsides are not mainly related to the location, but to the city itself. Be aware that Budapest is not a good destination during the Holidays. Everything shuts down on the Christmas Eve, around 2 PM: restaurants, cafes, Lidl, subway. A couple of places open on 25th of December, some more on 26th. Also, Budapest is an expensive city, more expensive than I was expecting. Any meal for 3 people was 70-120 Euros, and not in the fancy restaurants.

It was a great location, clean and tidy property and warm . It has a smoking area in the court yard which is with the property and private. The host was helpful and very friendly. I'd stay here again as myself and family got to know our way around after a day.

Only complaint is no ironing board and iron but that was no big issue .

Location was good and quiet

Apartment and bathroom needs more cleaning. Living room floor needs fixing, it was broken. In apartement there was spidernets.

-The location: very close to the Városliget ( "Citypark" a multifunctional park as for out as for inside activities), -Good connections for public transport, -Quiet place.

-The whole furnitures are really outdated by the use. Soon they'll fall apart one by one. Really recommended a complete change of them. -The cleanliness of the apartement isn't the best: used, dirty bath (as the curtain as the bathtube, the mat too). Under the bath mat the sewage drain just awful. Some spider net here and there. - No airco, not even a mobile fan, -No tv, -Dining set is incomplete, -The apartement is in a low lighted corner in the building. The low power bulbs makes even darker the rooms. All in all it really needs a renovation. It was good designed once, the implementation was more less ok, but today all is very used and downgraded.

Very good location. Everywhere can be quickly reached / walked.

NOTHING AT ALL.

ATENTION. It's an apartment that has nothing to do with What they send in the photos. Filthy apartment, maintenance in very bad state of conservation. But above all cleanliness is non-existent. Bag bread box, laundry machine with dirty clothes, dirty dishes, rest patio completely filthy with brooms and filthy rubbish in the same patio. I complained on the same day, but only after three days did I receive an apology. I don't recommend it at all
