Emerald Apartment

A really good rental apartment, one of the best I've used in Budapest. Location was great, with bus stop outside the apartment, and a metro 350mtr away, as well as supermarket, cafe, pharmacy all on the same block. The location was not a pretty part of Budapest but it is very quick to go to those parts. The facilities were great too, a nice big fridge, oven/stove/dishwasher worked, lots of cooking utensils etc. Bathrooms and toilet were comfortable. Smart TV worked for NetFlix, Disney, Youtube etc. Lift access was only to 5th floor, but it was an easy walk to the apartment on the 6th. Very generous host in regards to items to use ie coffee pods, toilet paper, washing machine/dishwasher detergents etc.

The lounge chair was a bit small, a true 2 seater. So I would suggest to the host perhaps putting in a bean bag as well?

Newly renovated apartment with everything you need. Excellent location, near a big parking lot if you travel by car, and close to a metro station. Green market and lots of shops in the vicinity.

Second time staying here and will probably stay again if I come back to Budapest, as it’s great value for money with convenient location and super well equipped apartment

Everything was perfect. Home well equipped.

Was very good everything.

The property was perfect for 2 couples, the main room and lounge area had a n air conditioner which was perfect for the hot weather. centrally located so easy to navigate to the main locations.

second room does not have an air conditioning. cannot fault it otherwise

- Position close to the train station - Large shopping mall very close, and decent supermarket 50 meters from the property - Good space and kitchen - Host was very quick to answer when contacted

- The apt is on the 6th floor with very old lift leaving you on the 5th (this needed to be clearly stated before booking). - Hot water supply is limited as is heated by a boiler. Two showers in a row were possible if super fast, otherwise you'll need to wait. This water limitation needed to be said upon arrival (we had to ask the host how to manage the boiler, we are not used to it); it is livable once you understand how it works, but for a vacation you would want to have no issues... - Sewer smell coming from the shower, at some points very unpleasant - Mattress was kind of bouncy and pillows not exactly of high quality - Not overly clean all around - Bathroom towels kind of small, especially for use after shower
