BpR City Lodge Apartments

We traveled as family of 3 with a 9 month old baby. Our biggest concern from the reviews was the noise. We stayed from friday to Wednesday so the main party time. However we never had any problem with noise. The location is just so perfect. It is at a central place right above the pubs and bars. There were many many shops eateries to explore nearby. If you decide to go no where around budapest still you get everything in this place. Travelling with a baby is difficult but our stay here was perfect. Ample space for the baby to run , when doors were closed we did not have any noise. When we wanted noise just go downstairs. In my opinion this was a perfect stay for us.

Nothing but small things can make a big difference. Have some dishwasher soap, we got our own so we did not have problem. The garbage bags please put them there. Seperate ones for plastic and food. I wanted to clean up but couldn’t because there were no bags. This is not a big issue but a suggestion to make it even better.

L'appartement est très bien équipé (dans la cuisine tout ce qu'il faut, même un lave-vaisselle et machine à laver, étendoir, tout comme à la maison).

L'appartement est au-dessus d'un restaurant (bruit) et donne sur une place qui est bruyante jusqu'à 6h du matin. La machine à café n'a pas fonctionné, signalé aux hôtes, mais sans réaction. Heureusement nous avions notre percolateur et heureusement compatible induction, sinon pas de café. Il faut mentionner que la cuisinère est à induction dans la description. GROS GROS MAUVAIS POINT: 2e soir, la cuisine a été inondée par un reflux d'eau usée nauséabonde. Nettoyage par nos soins,reflux le lendemain matin, attente 2 matinées l'arrivée d'un plombier. ON NOUS AVAIT DIT QUE NOUS SERONS REMBOURSES D'AU MOIS UNE NUIT, QUE NENNI. Les hôtes sont nuls, à l'exception de la femme qui était de garde le soir/nuit où on a été inondé, la seule qui a une culture d'hospitalié. Les autres ne valent pas un clou, n'attendez rien de ses hôtes, pour eux c'est normal que ce soient les gens qui payent pour un appartement en parfait état qui nettoient l'inondation nauséabonde, qui perdent leur temps à attendre qu'ils trouvent une solution....sans compensation. De surcroît, on a dû rester une nuit de plus à Budapest, donc il était plus simple de garder l'appart. Quand j'ai rajouté la nuit, j'aurais attendu que ce soit proposé comme dédommagement, mais encore une fois, que nenni. Dommage pour l'appart que les hôtes ne méritent pas d'être appeler "hôtes", tout au juste "gestionnaires" (et pas très bons).

Jó beosztás, szép apartman, kényelmes ágy, viszonylag kényelmes kanapé. Jól felszerelt konyha.

Nem működött a klíma, többszöri értesítés után sem javították meg. Stabil 30 fok volt a lakásban. Rettentő zajos a szoba az alatta és az udvaron lévő bároktól. Mivel nem volt használható a klíma éjszaka nyitottablakkal kellett aludni, vagyis kellett volna...

Lokacija je odlicna, prostran, lijepo opremljen i jako uredan apartman. Pogodan za porodicu.

Otherwise, the location is top center, clean and convenient.

The apartment is in a very convenient location, "right in the center of the party" :( Right below the apartment there is an entertainment venue that works until 01:00 in the evening. The music makes the furniture shake and there is no way you can sleep and be fresh during the day. The visitors of the venue consume a lot of alcohol and besides being noisy, there is a brawl and it ends up in a fight. Apparently there is also a problem with the hot water, because there is no water in the evening.

It was relatively clean, the floor was a bit sticky in the bathroom, but other than that it was OK.

Location is central, but apartment was right above a pub. We emailed that we can't sleep (on Tuesday and Wednesday nights), and that we were worried about the weekend, we wanted to rest. We booked something with "strict" quiet hours between 20.00-8.00 - all they said is "hopefully the weekend will be quieter" Horrible reply, horrible handling of the situation. We did not sleep during the nights at all, barely managed some during the day. We were so angry. We sent a video of the noise, with curtain, windows and blinds all shut, just us sitting on the bed trying to sleep and what we are listening too, and they asked if the windows were open in the video as it was so loud, they didn't want to believe it. Also, the AC did not work. Ridiculous. Don't advertise something you don't have fully working.

Flat was clean and tidy, in a nice location in the downtown

the flat is on the first floor in an area full of bars and restaurants: unfortunately even when keeping the windows closed it was very noisy. The flat comes almost empty, not even the basics are there (not even salt or an extra garbage bag)
