Budapest Central Port Apartment

Centrally located

The property is very well located in an area full of restaurants and well connected to the rest of the city by nearby metro stations. We were received at the property by the host and he was very friendly and kind. The property also features high speed wifi.

The personal was very kind and helpful. Good view at the balcony. Good place if you want to have a fun vacantion. A lot of restaurants near to the apartament.

The place is a little worn out. Linens are old and need to be change including pillows.

I loved the location and especially the wonderful balcony! I was able to charge my computer while also working on the balcony (it has an outdoor plug) and hearing the happy vibes from the busy corridor below. I also dried clothes on the balcony (Budapest has fabulous thermal baths -- so bring your swimsuit and a travel towel).

Everything about our stay was brilliant. I had had a bit of communication with the host in advance as we needed to add a third guest for a couple of nights as a friend decided late that they would stay with us if possible; this was no problem and we agreed a very reasonable price to add him to the booking. The location was great, right in the centre of Pest. We were surrounded by restaurants, bars and convenience stores and it's very close to one of the airport bus stops (and I think a metro station, although we didn't use it). The host met us at the property to hand over the key and show us around, he was really friendly and would have answered more questions than we actually had (both on the day, or I'm sure if something had come up during our stay). The apartment is very clean and tidy, it's quiet (even on Friday/Saturday night when there's more nightlife going on outside), any faults there are are very minor. The AC is very good (and we certainly needed it as it was very hot when we were there).

Honestly the only things I can find any fault with at all are very minor. When there were 3 of us staying, the WC is off the main living space but the bathroom is off the bedroom; so at night you'd potentially disturb the other room's occupants if you needed the other location. It might also have been useful to have a second front door key available as the three of us did not always go out together - which in complete fairness might have been something we could have requested but didn't think to, and we managed fine anyway.

The area is good in the middle of everything in Budapest. The flat is spacious and clean but needed a bit of refurbishment to bring it up to modern standards apart from that everything else is good. The area is noisy but nothing to do with the flat so if you enjoy good vibes like me then it’s nothing to worry about however if needed a quiet place then it’s not for you.

Nothing! It’s good for me and good value for money. I was on holiday so didn’t mind anything else. It’s clean and Okay for me.
