Everthing was wonderful. The owners were very accommodating, since we were traveling by bike they let us bring our bikes in the appartement. The size of the appartement was perfect, and very comfortable. The view was stunning from our balcony.

There was nothing we didn't like.

A beautifully designed apartment in a perfect location to walk everywhere in this pretty old town. The terrace has great views and is perfect for breakfast or dinner, although there are a lot of restaurants to choose from nearby too. The owners were very helpful and included information on suggestions for places to visit, hire bikes and eat (which we haven’t had at the other apartments we’ve stayed in in Northern Portugal). We would like to come back.

We stayed in the attic which had two nice big windows overlooking the river and the town. The room is very modern and clean. The hosts are very responsive and friendly and helped us with suggestions. The location was great, right above the river. There’s free public parking under the building - the only problem is you have to carry your luggage up a big flight of stairs as the elevator was not finished yet.

The ceiling is quite low so beware if you are a tall person!

"River-view perfect , bright apartment steps away from everthing wonderful about Amarante"

once again, a place i would love to live in ; in this apartment of the village of Amarante ! what a wonderful view from this apartment of this charming town. We were personally met at the entrance by 2 helpful staff who carried our luggage up the stairs. Casa do Fontanário Stay is located in the best possible spot, with views of the river and park , and a front door steps away from fine restaurants, church plaza, and charming bridge. The kitchen was well equippted and we loved having 2 balconies. The big window view from the bathroom is very special. The super cozy bedroom and bedroom balcony !! Excellent mattress and linen
