On arrival we found the apartment immaculately clean and exceptionally well equipped, it was bright, very comfortable and spacious and had a lovely balcony overlooking the town and river. The host, Miguel, was very friendly and kindly left us a delicious bottle of home made vinho verde on our second day. All in all a fantastic 3 night stay in the beautiful town of Amarante.

The only thing to mention is that the walk from the town to the apartment is up a steep hill. The reason the apartment has such great views is it is fairly high up; the walk could be an issue for anyone who is not reasonably fit.

Apartment had everything you could need. The host, Miguel, was so kind and welcoming. The town itself is beautiful and is a short walk from the apartment. We had a wonderful time here!

The driveway was a bit of a challenge in our slightly larger rental car, but a large parking pad at the bottom and space to turn around to avoid reversing back up it made it manageable!

One of the best apartments we have stayed in. A well designed apartment with great facilities and many extra little touches. Host was friendly and amazingly kind. Superb views from the balcony and many windows in the top floor apartment.

Fabulous all round. Miguel could not have been more welcoming to make us feel at home. Lovely view overlooking Amarante with a short walk into town. Comfy bed and pillows with everything you need for a short stay location.

AMAZING!!! the owners are fantastic and so kind. the appartment is like a brand new house. superclean, and every little detail what you could wish is available. the view from the balcony is stunning, and amarante is a very nice town with great restaurants.
