Fantastic views, well equipped, quiet neighborhood (except of bells 😏 from clock tower) and very helpful host!

Amazing accommodation with a beautiful view, comfortable bed, close to hiking trails. We enjoyed it here very much. The owner is a very nice person 😊

Lovely traditional house in the village of Artenara, recently renovated with a lot of taste, nothing was missing. Lovely rooftop sun deck with table, chairs and sun umbrella ( bedroom level) with the most amazing view on the mountains. Excellent contact with the owner Pablo, who drove all the way from Las Palmas to sort out a problem with the heating system and bring extra blankets. Very comfortable bed , large TV, washing machine. Close to bus stop, restaurants, supermarket and hiking trails.

The holiday flat can be reached via a longer staircase through a door from the street. I found a parking space for my rental car on the street at all times. The flat consists of two floors, a lower one with a large room with sitting area, dining area and kitchen and a separate bathroom with shower. On the upper floor, which can be reached via a narrow staircase, there is a double bed and a few wardrobes. From here you can access the wonderful terrace, with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The whole flat was very clean, the kitchen fully equipped, except for an oven, which I didn't miss. The wifi is fast enough to stream, I didn't try the TV. I really enjoyed the stay, I would love to come back. The landlord was very helpful and always asked if I could use anything. For me as a single traveller there was a lot of space in the flat. The location of Artenara in the mountains is wonderful, in the evening there is almost nothing to hear except the wind. A very good starting point for many beautiful walks. However, you should definitely rent a car. Thank you very much :-)

Amazing view from the bedroom. The village of Artenara is beautiful. Pablo, the host was really helpful and was available via Whatsapp. He made sure we have everything we need.

A mosquito net would be useful on the terrace door. Unfortunately from the balcony we noticed the neighbor’s dog chained all day and night in really bad condition. Of course that should not affect the apartment’s rating as they are not responsible for that. I reported it to a Spanish animal protection organisation. Unfortunately not much can be done as keeping dogs chained is still not illegal in Spain :( Maybe someone who speaks Spanish could talk to the neighbor who owns the nearby grocery store. Pablo tried to talk to him but nothing happened.

A gorgeous little house in the most beautiful location. Stunning Mountain views from fabulous terrace perfectly appointed to sit in peace with a book and a glass of something and just soak it all in! Loved it!

Nothing. House was perfect and communication with host was great so if there was a problem I’m sure he would respond quickly.

Well decorated, spacious, and clean. Comfortable bed and excellent shower. Good wifi. Spacious kitchen. Fantastic balcony with great views. Very close to amenities.

Not something that bothered me too much once I'd got used to them, but the church bells do ring through the night. Also. the only bathroom is downstairs.

Quiet and peaceful setting in the centre of Artenara, with restaurants and supermarkets close by. We were able to do several wonderful hikes from our front door. The church bells did not worry us at all. The house was spotless and simply but elegantly furnished. Some thought had been given to equipment and supplies such as cling film and washing powder available. Of course the best aspect is the balcony leading off the bedroom with stunning views across the mountains. The sunsets were fabulous and even the cloudy days were interesting watching the clouds sliding across the hills. We intend to return.

The downstairs is a little dark and the stairs from the bedroom a little to negotiate in the middle of the night!
