Lux Apartment in Downtown

The building was old and when it rained the ground floor was flooded and we couldn't pass through the entrance

The room was light, sunny and quiet. Being high there was a city view, especially pretty at night with the lights. Good hot water. Alexander was very helpful and quick to reply to questions. Good security. Locked gates to enter the stairwell.

The room is in a great location for getting around but the dark and damp entrance, dripping from recent rain, was off putting. There are 60 steps (no lift) up to the room (on the top floor, hence the view). I would have liked a toaster to cook toast for breakfast. Very basic cooking facilities.

The location is great. The host was very kind.

The apartment was not very clean. Sheets were not ironed, so it looked like someone was in the bed right before me, and like sheets were not changed. The smell of the apartment was a bit questioning. A lot of things were not great. Towels were terrible. The access to the property was terrifying and dirty as well. The doorknob kept being stuck. I was truly disappointed, especially cause I paid this much for "lux" property. Sad.

Aleksandr I think is the best host you will ever find, if you ever visit Belgrade don't think and just book this room, it was stuffed with all the conveniences for living, maybe it just will be small for a long stay depending on your requirements and how much time you will spend in the room (for me it's ok). The room is right in the centre and it's really very comfortable to get to shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and everywhere in the city buy public transports as it surrounded with bus stops.

a little problem with hot water, it takes the boiler some time to make hot water and if you are the one who takes long showers you can just turn off and on the shower while taking a bath so you won't stay without hot water in the middle as you have to turn off the boiler while shower is turned on because of some electricity problems, also you can't turn on both the air conditioner and shower at the same time but it's not a big issue, you'll easily manage it. Be aware it might be cold in the winter without turning on the conditioner.
