Lux Apartment in Belgrade 2

Clean apartments and very good location.

The appartment was close to the city center. The owner was kind enough to adjust check in time.

The cleanilg lady arrived 20 minutes before agreed check out time, and therefore we had to leave earlier than planned. Wi fi was not working. We reached out to the owner, but there was no response, therefore we were without wifi for the whole stay. The place was comfortable, but not clean.

The location was in the best part of town, close to the main tourist area but far enough away that it was quiet and calm. There were many bars, cafes, and restaurants around. The shower was ok, if there was hot water.

Apartment looked very different from the pictures. It needed major revisions. If you're on a budget and need a place for one night, this would be ok.: * The bedding was old, torn, and stained. The pillows were very old, lumpy, and smelly, like they had survived a lifelong journey from Soviet times. * Everything needed either thrown away (tea kettle with grime buildup inside and outside, pillows) or deeply cleaned (sinks, everywhere). * There is a toilet cabinet separate from the shower, not together as in the photos. And the toilet runs for 5 minutes after flushing. * There is no heat from the building, so you have to blast the little space heater and use a wall unit for it to be comfortable. It wasn't below 4* during my trip, but the heater stayed on most of the time. * Don't let their use of the word "lux" fool you. That's laughable.

Superb price/value ratio apartment for a short trip in Belgrade. Located in the centre near Studentski park, all the main sights and restaurants/bars are within walking distance. The flat was spacious, had 3 separate comfortable beds, and good wifi. Ivan, the host was very responsive and helpful.
