Sunset Shepherds Hut

I have stayed here before and I love the place. I never see anyone just move in take dinner with me and leave in the morning. I sat watching the world go by and enjoyed.

1st time I visited I had a macaw visit, it never turned up this time, hope it's ok

Such a lovely setting where the property is and so quite. We enjoyed the outside area with playing games, having a bbq and making a fire for our marshmallows that were left for us. My daughter loved seeing all the horses and asked questions about them.

We liked everything…..Haribo marshmallows toast better, I know that so I bring my own😃

Beautifully accommodation tucked away at the end of a field by the river. Shower was piping hot, facilities were enough for 2, clean and tidy, surprisingly large too! I was concerned I wouldn’t get any signal for a zoom call but signal was good too. Fire pit was lovely to sit around and have our dinner, and waking up to birds outside the window was exactly what I needed to start the day. We both slept well, and made a coffee using the first singing kettle I’ve ever used. Oven was a bit fiddly to ignite but we got there (certainly wouldn’t be able to cook a roast in there but it’s just enough!). Very impressed with our stay.

Our only niggles were the very springy mattress and the shelf next to the bed (hubs hit his head and elbow in his sleep 🙈🤣) but despite this we would still 100% stay again as it was too lovely to let this tiny things bother us.

All of it. Beautiful, clean, well equipped shepards hut. What a great place for a peaceful break. We lived it all. The fire pit was a gorgeous touch, too, along with a bag of marshmallows. We had everything we needed for our night away. It was a little peace of heaven for the night.
