Sunset Shepherds Hut

The surroundings are really very nice and quiet at night. During the day you can enjoy the view and the variety of birds, with very cute swans and parrots! The accommodation is well equipped and particularly hygienic, with a very nice bathroom, kitchen, dining table and bed, as well as equipped bath towels and cutlery. We especially liked the little surprises: wooden swabs and marshmallows. The staff was very warm and friendly and helped me promptly using the telephone communication.

The route to find the address may not be very convenient for travellers on foot (like us), so for personal reasons it would be more recommended for travellers travelling by car. There are no street lights after dark, so it's best to check in early in the day or familiarise yourself with the route.

It’s a very comfortable shepherd hut in a lovely setting. Very clean and we were really on there fleetingly as we had a concert to go to at the cricket ground. Would happily have stayed longer.

But tricky to find - we used what three words which didn’t seem to work that well. Wouldn’t like to try and find it in the dark.

Absolutely magical! The location is beautiful and we were given really detailed instructions to get to the property (incliding What Three Words, super helpful). Everything in the hut had been carefully thought through and was immaculately clean. The hut was just far enough from the main house to feel totally private and close enough to feel safe and know there was help close at hand if we had any issues. My daughter and I loved the dogs on site, who were very friendly and we named each of the ducks, swans and the parrot! Already planning a (longer) next visit!

The gas grill was a little temperamental but that's probably user error and didn't spoil our lovely breakfast.

Loved the hut, it's furnished really nicely & it was really cozy. Having a kettle & facility to cook was fab, and having tea in the sun on the porch was so relaxing!

We found the hut really difficult to navigate to as the sun had set when we'd arrived & the narrow tracks weren't lit at all. We ended up leaving the car & using our torches to try to find the track leading to the hut

Lovely place, more comfortable than expected can't wait to come back
