Victoria Apartment 1

Thankfully this apartment had a lovely sitting area to relax in and feel secure…really lovely. The kitchen area had everything needed and was set up for ease in prep and cooking. A bonus of having a washing machine and dryer to catch up on my washing. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Shopping just up the road too.

The property was in an area where there was a lot of noise from people partying and drinking, just downstairs. The noise started from mid afternoon, until very late in the evening. Approaching the apartment I was very apprehensive, with the laneway lined with rubbish bins and whichever way you came into it, there were loud (some quite obnoxious) people. Situated also in a central spot, road noise, pedestrian crossing sound and even an ambulance with some sort of medical assistance van (with lights on) just outside the front windows, until the early hours on the Sunday night. Parking was also a nightmare…thankfully the owners had organised a pass for me at a parking lot about 6 minutes walk from the apartment. I left my luggage in my car and just went back and forward when I needed anything. These issues I had, were no fault of the owners, but just wanted to state, so that other travellers aren’t as disappointed as I was. Truly I will never go back to Torquay.

Fantastic stay, thank you! Communication was excellent with an added bonus of a welcome information pack. The apartment is ideally situated by the harbor with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Attractive and good quality furnishings, everything you could need with nice touches such as adaptors for overseas visitors. Had two very good nights sleep and will definitely be back

The space was lovely and clean and warm! Lovely area opposite the Harbour and lots of lovely restaurants!

To be expected as it was near all the pubs and eateries- The noise level as there’s a pub opposite ( to be expected though as it was at Christmas )

Great apartment all you need for a stay close to shops and pubs parking permit was great very comfortable stay, will book again when we’re in Torquay for another break
