Green apartment, in the middle of the city center, quiet, AC

Neighbourhood and amenities in the appartment.

Building not safe, very old appartment, difficult to ventilate, decoration. Host not reachable to get instructions on arrival - I had to contact booking.

Very centrally located close to metro, restaurants and shops. A plus for the coffee shop just next door. Small apartment but enough space for 4 people.

Unfortunately the air conditioner started to drop water the second night which gave me a bad sleep. The owner knew about the problem and had tried to fix it, but apparently the plumber did a bad job.

Fantastic location, comfortable beds, excellent communication, good A/C and fun decoration :) Even though it was on a busy street amongst a lot of (fun!) bars, the apartment itself is very quiet. Really appreciated that we could check in early and that there was a washing machine and coffee maker!

The apartment is in a good location

The communication and response by the owner. Within half an hour of arriving the electricity tripped and we were without power. My phone call and texts were unanswered, but after 30 min I was told an electrician would be there by 10.30pm, 3 hours after we checked in. Without an idea that power would be restored, and the length of time that we were expected to be in the dark, we booked elsewhere, the owner was not willing to refund the cost, we returned the following morning but the entry codes had been changed so we were unable to continue with the the booking, the owner communicated that we would get a refund, and a new booking would allow us back in a 3pm, This was not acceptable since we had no where for our bags and only a day to visit Budapest and the owner was expecting us to fit in with their timeline. We found alternate accommodation, we have received no refund as promised, and booking.com has offered us no recourse even when it's clear from the communication that we did not get the service that you would minimally expect or the refund as promised We were dissatisfied with both the owner and booking.com, I would caution anyone that expects booking.com to support you when you book, they clearly side with the owners of the properties they host on their site Mark

The location, equipment, the design of the place.

Bathroom - very bad ventilation, not soundproof at all.

Location was excellent. Bedding was good. A lot of amenities.

Ventilation was bad and some of the lightbulbs didn’t work or needed to be replaced.

Cleanliness, location, ease of access, good size, good facilities, secure, wifi

The shower head was flimsy but good pressure.
