The location was convenient, close to shops and Santa Barbara castle. If you’ve got a car, just a warning regarding the parking in the area, is simply a nightmare to find a spare spot, one evening we drove around for on hour until we found one!

We should’ve read all the reviews carefully before booking this apartment, what they said is true and I’ll detail them on our review as well. There is a requirement for a €200 deposit but is quite hidden in the description for the apartment in my view should be clearer and on the main page. It is a normal method, given the nature of the accommodation but when you check out, nobody comes to check the apartment. They also charge €30 for a late check in (after 20:00), however the owner lives only 5 minutes away so it’s just an excuse to get some extra money. Other apartments have a box with a code and you can easily collect the key this way. The apartment is on the 4th floor with no lift available so bear that in mind. The main room and living room are towards the main street therefore is very noisy because the public transport runs on this street, you can also hear the cars, motorcycles, scooters and even people talking! Sleeping in any of these 2 rooms is a nightmare because the windows/door doesn’t block the outdoor noise. If you book the apartment during the winter, think again! Was very cold inside and we were given a very small halogen radiator for one room but didn’t make any difference. All the furniture is very outdated, maybe even 20 years old! Mattresses were very uncomfortable, you can feel the spring coils through them!!! Bed lining and duvets were very old, sleeping on hard pillows doesn’t help at all. When we asked for an extra duvet, they took one out from the cupboard but wasn’t clean and looked like the last wash was quite a long time ago !!! The amenities are kept to a bare minimum, there is no oven (despite being mentioned in the description!), toaster, coffee machine, kitchen towels, bedside lamps. The drainer for kitchenware is in the cupboard and was full of rust. We had quite a few kitchen cockroaches, their main habitat are in the cupboards but they also adventure in the living room.

Overall the stay at this accommodation was good. The hosts were very friendly, almost all the equipment was present, plus a good location: there is a store nearby, the sea is a twenty-minute walk away. The apartment was clean.

The apartment is located on the fourth floor, but there is no elevator, which is not very convenient. There are no heating devices in the apartment; it is cool in windy weather. The housing requires repairs: the wall requires repairs after some events, some furniture requires replacement. There is no oven in the kitchen. There was also no oil, no salt, no coffee, no tea, etc. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the shower stall.

There's no elevator or mention of not having this service in the booking.

Aircon was barely functioning. 1 of the electric fans stopped functioning on our 2nd day but in fairness to the host they gave us 2 replacements right away. The tv was not functioning.
