Everything except for the cleanliness of the floor in the main bathroom

The main bathroom floor could have been hoovered. There was another person’s hair on the floor. The shower, toilet and wash basin were clearly very clean, but the floor was not.

Nothing

Difficult to get into the building. Very dusty and musty smell upon entering apartment. There was saucepans on the floor, presuming for leaks. Stains on furniture and bedding. In one of the bathrooms the pipe was damaged and there was a cup underneath catching the water. If overfilled would flood underneath as seen by the water stains.

Decor was amazing. Very spacious. Good location.

Not much! Apartment could have had an iron.

Location

We were booked for three nights at this location. Problems started on the very first evening of our arrival; the instructions were not in line with reality. The instructions mentioned two codes for the two entry intercoms. Initially, they didn’t work, but eventually, we managed to ente r with one of the codes (the same system that failed on the first evening, which didn’t work at all the next day). Upon reaching the entrance door to the apartment, we noticed that the first door, with an iron grate, had a handle that required a code. This is where the problems started, as it seemed that the device wasn’t powered and wasn’t working. We called the support number for assistance. They answered, but the solutions they offered referred to a box attached to a wall that contained a key (which was mentioned in the instructions we received by email, but in reality, no such box existed). I explained to the person on the phone that there was no box with a key on the wall, and that the door was black, not brown as shown in their pictures. At that point, they said they remembered the location and suggested we try the codes we had received. In the end, we discovered that the first handle with the code didn’t actually work, and we had to pull harder on the door without entering any codes, after which we reached the apartment door and entered another code on that handle. After this stressful experience with entering the building and the apartment, we thought things were resolved, only to find that the next day we couldn’t exit the building because the button in the middle of the hallway on the ground floor didn’t work to open the door. Initially, we called to find the button, as the instructions didn’t mention anything about it. Later, we realized that it didn’t work, and we were helped by a resident who had a physical key and unlocked the door. We informed the support team, and they said they would call us back after reporting the issue and that it would be resolved that day.

Good location, three rooms with three bathrooms, no noise from the street, the heating is excellent!

Great apartment, full of character. Beds were all very comfortable. Situated on a very busy road but had no issues with noise. Multiple transport options and routes within a 10 minute walk along with ample choice of cafes and supermarkets.

Good location, Supermarkets on same street, close to Jewish quarter for night life and ruin bars, bedrooms used were spacious, friendly neighbours in the block. Lots to do in Budapest it’s self, close to tram and metro stations as well as stop 10 for hop on off bus, a main train station Keleti is 10 mins away for easy luggage storage. Large comfortable beds in two main rooms. We had a great time.

The arrival instructions to gain access to the building and room are not easy to follow. Instructions assume people understand the norms of the way things are done in Budapest. There is no physical ‘key’ and there is a key 🔑 symbol on key pads in Budapest that is part of the pass codes. Handy to know when using rest rooms when out and about. The third room we did not use, has a small double bed. Would be cramped for a couple in there. The main rooms 1&2 are big but full of un-needed clutter. The rugs in the rooms could be doing with either cleaning or replacing, furniture dusty in places. In room 1 (not the 4 poster bed one) the Air Conditioning is leaking and soaked the rug at the entrance of the room. 4 people stayed 6 nights, we had 4 toilet rolls, had to buy more. The kitchen space is very limited and tiny space to sit, no real living room area more like chairs and table in a corridor. Sounds like a big moan, these were small things really, not to get worked up about over.
