We arrived earlier than checkin and asked to leave our luggage in the apartment. Erna met us there while she was cleaning and getting it ready and oriented us to the apartment and the surrounding area. The apartment is located very close to the center, Danube and Budapest famous market. Almost everything is walking distance. It is on walking street with no car traffic allowed, so expect to walk about 100 feet from taxi stop.

We loved our 6-day stay at this apartment in Budapest. The apartment is spacious, bright, modern and comfortable. It was very clean, has a fully-equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed with lovely European comforters/duvets. Its location is amazing. The building itself is nearly 200 years old and absolutely beautiful with its inner courtyard of tiered balconies laced with ironwork. I loved "coming home" to such a charming building, including the old-fashioned elevator. The location is super convenient to so many of Budapest's attractions, with subway stops, grocery stores, restaurants & bars nearby. (Recommend the Hungarian Hell's Kitchen next door for good food & great live music.) Upon arrival at the apartment, we were met by the owner, Erna, who was wonderful. She was flexible about our arrival time and greeted us warmly. Aside from being helpful about the apartment and neighborhood, she went out of her way to locate a blood test laboratory for me (for routine monitoring of a medication). Erna visited the lab in person to confirm it could help me, and left information about it on our doorstep. It was the perfect solution and she saved me much time, angst and internet searching. We will definitely stay at this apartment again should we return to Budapest!

The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. Erna met us at the apartment and allowed us to drop off our bags before check in. The location was excellent and situated amongst nice restaurants and cafes.

The location of the apartment ( third floor by elevator) which was in a small lane was a bit difficult when we arrived. Erna did not tell us about access to the building via the key tag which caused some difficulties on the first night.
