Balmis Plaza Apartments

The property was extremely well prepared and very well furnished. It had everything we needed, including a washing machine, washing detergent, and a clothes dryer. After a long journey, it was a lovely surprise to find cold water and beer left for us by the owner, a very thoughtful touch, thank you. The location is excellent, very close to the Old Town, the Alicante palm promenade, and the shops. We really enjoyed our stay.

I believe it is important to mention one issue regarding our stay. We arrived on Friday, and the guests staying next door were having a bachelorette party - around 10 people. They were extremely loud and kept shouting near the door until around 3:00–3:30 a.m., without showing consideration for other guests. On Saturday, new guests checked in next door and again continued partying very late into the night. After midnight, they rang our intercom several times, which was quite disruptive and, again, not respectful. I was not bothered by normal noise or people chatting outside, as there is a social bar beneath the rooms and that is understandable. However, the behavior of the guests next door on both Friday and Saturday nights was excessive and inconsiderate, which affected our rest.

Fantastic location

The location was perfect. Apartment was spotless. Loved the balcony to sit out on and enjoy the buzz from the restaurant and bar below.

Great location, great access to bars and restaurants in a great part of the city. Great communication with the owner.

The noise from the bar below us was very bad ,we had been warned about it by the owner when booking the apartment but it was a lot worse than expected , which was really unfortunate because we had a great stay otherwise

There’s a bar on the ground floor of the building, so it can get a bit noisy on weekends.

Los Viernes y Sábados por la noche puede haber un tanto de ruido por las terrazas de los bares que están sobre la placita Xavi, el anfitrión,nos había avisado

The location and landlord

Xavi hat sich vor unserem Aufenthalt bei uns gemeldet und uns alle wichtigen Infos sehr detailliert aufgeschrieben. Die Unterkuft war dank seiner ausführlichen Erklärung leicht zu finden, auch mit dem Check-in hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Das Zimmer war sauber, groß, es gab nicht nur Dusch- sondern sogar extra Badehandtücher für den Strand. Die Unterkunft befindet sich auf einem kleinen Park wo es auch zwei Bars gibt, unser Zimmer befand sich in der 1. Etage und direkt darunter ist eine dieser Bars und die Leute stehen da bis in den frühen Morgenstunden draußen, sowas wie Sperrstunde und Nachtruhe draußen vor der Bar gubt es nicht - hat man das Fenster offen ist es wirklich sehr laut - ich bin sehr lärmempfindlich und muss aber tatsächlich gestehen, dass ich bei geschlossenen Fenstern super geschlafen haben - also an dieser Stelle ein Lob an des Fensterbauer denn die Fenster sind wirklich super. Auch die sehr zentrale Lage war für uns super - man konnte alles easy zu Fuß erreichen. Ich kann die Unterkunft wirklich jedem emfehlen.
