My House Ahangama

The host family is delightful. Very cheerful and accommodating. After my first dinner at hotel, I ate there every night. Delicious cooking. The jungle setting is very nice, with monkeys in the trees, and very lush green plant growth. It is rustic, but very clean and pleasant. And the beach is the best, a very short walk away. A protected cove with lots of shade from trees. Ask the owner where it is.

They had great food

The rooms were unhygienic and had lots of bugs and ants in the bed.

My House has a good location, just few minutes from the best beach in the area. Ishan and his family were great hosts, his wife a really good cook. They provided everything that I needed.

Could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom.

Everything is great here. Peaceful garden, super lovely family that takes care of you. Great food and vibes! Came for 1 night, staying for a week now. Recommended!

Beautiful Place, just off Ahangama, short walk to the most beautiful beach. Tropical lush garden with all kinds of animals, inkl. monkeys. The hospitality of this family is extraordinary, fantastic breakfast every morning. Please do have a barbecue, this was absolutely delicious, so was the food on the night of our arrival. We booked for 4 nights, extended for 2 more. You can ask for anything, they will help and can arrange any kind of trip, bikes, all you want. Defenitely want to come back here

Bathroom could need a bit of makeover, but i can only say that for our cabana. Price you pay is unbeatable anyway

My house Ahangama is a wonderful place surrounded by a beautiful, quiet garden. The host and his family are always ready to help you with watever you need. Their breakfast and dinner (try the vegetable curry!) Are delicious! The rooms are basic but cosy. There are a few ants living in the bathroom, but if you are not bothered by a touch of nature inside your room this place is definitly highly recommended for you!

The hospitality, kindness, and general interest to help your stay be as good as it can is truly demonstrated by Ishan and his family. The different breakfasts every day and a choice of food for the evenings are spectacular! Location is excellent just tucked off the main road but close enough to the secret beach! I would highly recommend this place to stay if you want to have an authentic Sri Lankan experience
