Everything about it was so good. No faults

Absolutely nothing, was perfect

This apartment was very clean and spacious with quality furnishings. Had everything we needed for a short stay and in a quiet location. It was set over 3 floors with kitchen on the bottom, lounge and bedroom on second and bathroom on top.

It didn’t bother us but stairs were a little bit steep.

Lovely apartment, welcoming host who provided crumpets teabags and milk as a treat. On a quiet street, 20-25 minutes walk into town for restaurants. Bathroom on 2nd floor above bedroom so not suitable for some.

Loved the location. Easy walking distance into town. Lovely wide road with plenty of car parking space. The flat was spotlessly clean and light and airy. Excellent bed and bedding. well equipped bathroom with range of toiletries. Quality of equipment and fittings very good. Basics provided for breakfast and nice to find milk and orange juice in the fridge upon arrival.

Might be a good idea to mention that property is over 3 floors and that stairs are quite steep.

The only thing was the stairs to the bedroom and bathroom were quite steep and would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems

The Annex is about 20mins walk from the town centre, in a nice quiet area. The Annex was modern and very clean. Louise (the owner) was on hand and very obliging pre arrival and on arrival. The Annex had absolutely everything needed for a comfortable stay, even including crumpets, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, orange juice and jam to get us started. We had a very comfortable stay there, and would definitely go back.

The only thing we didn't like, while watching TV in the sitting room that our necks got sore. This could be remedied by using a wall bracket with more of a tilt, or a recliner sofa. Having said that, there was a big TV in the bedroom, so when we wanted to watch TV we just propped ourselves up and watched in there.

It is a very lovely, clean property in a good location in Carlisle. There is a lot of attention to detail. The hosts provided a generous welcome pack with coffee, tea, milk, cereals etc. The walk into Carlisle city centre takes about 20 minutes.

The property is on three floors which was no problem for us.

Lovely, well equipped hideaway for 2. Walking distance of Carlisle (about 25-30 minutes). Supermarket on same route- Sainsbury’s and Aldi. The compact dishwasher is perfect for 2 people. If you are driving around take the parking disc from under the sink with you as you may need it to park. Parking outside the property is easy. Great location to be based in for traveling further afield E.g. to see Hadrian’s wall or the Ribblehead viaduct (we walked to the station in Carlisle and took the train)

Tiny issues - nowhere to hang longer clothes such as dresses - no slotted spoon in the kitchen - we couldn’t find the dustpan and brush but I’m sure there was one last year!
