The Annex

Loved the standard of restoration- the beams were gorgeous! On the whole my experience was a very pleasant one. Anna was very warm and accommodating before and after the stay. Thanks Anna

Nothing I didn’t like however for me a couple of things would have added to my experience: A small amount of washing powder for one load A pair of scissors in the cutlery drawer A small amount of ground coffee for the cafetière Small things I know so no criticism intended ;-)

We actually stayed at the hosts other property (booking.com accidentally double booked, the host kindly gave us their other property in Carlisle which was free but booking.com didn't update the booking details for the host). Lovely property (photos don't do it justice), clean and free parking available. Biscuits, teas and milk kindly provided. Host was very approachable and helpful. We had a great stay. Lots to see in Carlisle! Thank you!

Nothing, everything catered for

Fantastic little place, great homely base for our holiday. Very clean with everything you need. Many thanks for the stay. It was tough to come home.

A nice characterful quiet property with a well equipped kitchen and onsite parking

Amazing accommodation.

Amazing location surrounded by farms and close to Carlisle (10 minutes driving). There is a co-op supermarket opposite the property which was very handy. Local pubs and a fish&chips bar just nextdoor. Parking was easy just outside the door. Our host Anna was very kind to show us around the home and the facilities. We have enjoyed our stay in the cosy little place with everything practically laid out and had everything we needed to cook. Would recommend to anyone visiting Cumbria and looking for a stay close to Carlisle.
