delightful, spotless, stylish and cosy - will be back!

Lovely place to stay, very cosy , plenty of local shops around , quiet village, just a heads up that the local pub is closed Mondays and Tuesdays which we planned to have a meal in (we stayed here at the annex mon -wed) we went 4 mile up the road to Carlisle Town, plenty of places to eat drink upto 4am , anne was lovely, highly recommend to stay here if you love peace , all you hear in the morning is the birds singing , lovely church around the corner with big graveyard, plenty of walk trails and views , co-op just up the road , free parking allowed in there carpark no matter how long (does have owners risk in place if leaving car) but we went in our campervan and was fine for 2 days You will need your own wood if using log fire , which do sell at co op , but suggest to bring your own with it being £9 a bag which lasts around a night's worth , but overall you will enjoy this place

I struggles a bit with hot water and heating, but I was there in a very cold and stormy January .
