The Old Dairy Mill Street

Easy to find, good location for walking into Crediton. Very neat and clean place. Everything you need. Host was response and kind to post my forgotten boots back to me. Also the accommodation has a good information pack to help you make the most of your time in the area.

The vehicles noise from the busy road did effect my ability to relax. I appreciate it did mention about a single pane window in the front room. The accommodation was spotless and you can sleep well in the bedroom out the back. It reminds me about the need for vehicle campaigns such as 20 is plenty around streets where residents live.

The property was everything we needed during our week long stay..it was warm and comfortable..quite near to public transport so we explored many new places from Exeter to Axminster and a few in between..Crediton itself is a lovely place to visit..local shops cafes and takeaways also a lovely park and swimming pool..in the property we cooked and invited family who live in the area we had everything we needed just like home..it was very cosy and the owners were very friendly and accommodating..there isn’t anything you’ll need if you choose to stay here..I cannot recommend it more highly..Thanks for making our stay very comfortable..we hope to be back soon..

Nothing we didn’t like

Clean and tidy. Furnishings modern and well maintained. Good location as a base for days out during the week. Close to amenities.

Traffic noise was awful. No double glazing. No privacy glass on front window and net curtain did not help prevent onlookers. We kept curtains closed most evenings. Parking at rear through narrow access between buildings and difficult to see oncoming traffic when exiting. Mattress ok but a little lumpy. Didn't use microwave as no suitable containers provided for it. Also needs a draining rack by sink.

Extremely noisy road

It feels like home , and so easy to settle into and use as your own space. All the cooking facilities are provided, and with a patio set outside al fresco eating and chilling out is great after a busy day. A private parking space is very handy.

It didn't effect our sleep in the main bedroom, but the living room is noisy from road traffic due to single pane glass, so would be difficult to sleep in if using the spare bed.

The property was very clean and well equipped. It was in a great location for us to visit family, very close to the shops for supplies

Nothing everything was good

The location in Crediton was great for our trip, having off road parking was really good. Very spacious main room, quiet bedroom. Nice and clean with everything you could need. Supermarket and shops all within walking distance.

The only down side was the road noise in the main living room. If this could be improved it would make it a more pleasant stay.
