The Old School

It is a very large space with lovely high ceilings. A lot of thought has gone into making your stay comfortable and easy. Helpful and welcoming hosts and all the information provided for you in a book. Not too far to drive to Fort William and Glencoe and a nice walking area too.

A little bit tired, things like chipped plates, old towels and old blankets and the seal on the shower having mold on it and the carpet having dog hair in it. I think the palce was comfy and cosy anyway but maybe a little refreshing would be good.

Beautiful location in the small village of Dalavich. Carol was so generous with our family. Our daughter is usually very shy around new people but Carol was very welcoming and made her feel at ease, even taking her to get some eggs with the Chickens. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a cosy family trip.

Spacious accommodation, very comfortable, quiet, lovely location and on site facilities.

Be prepared for the Midges!!

Its a very good property . It has everything you need to stay and rooms were very spacious. Big backyard and lots of spaces for children to play

The location is very remote town. It's a single lane driving with frequent passing area, however driving feels longer. Otherwise it's excellent place to stay

Fantastic location, apartment was more spacious than expected and equipped to a basic standard, had everything we needed. Great value for money. Owner was very welcoming and helpful. Dalavich is an interesting place with a strong community focus and good facilities. Beautiful woodland, full of bluebells and ancient trees, and right on the Loch. Everyone very friendly.

The outside area at the front is a bit unkempt and could be made more attractive. The towels provided were not adequate but we had our own anyway so did not affect us. I'm sure Carol would have provided more on request.

We loved the single track road to the property, so peaceful, lush and green and several woodland walks caught our eyes in passing. On arrival a warm welcome, friendly and helpful. So comfy, so cosy, so dog friendly, very spacious. Lovely big windows to relax and watch the swallows flying outside, even from our fabulous bed! Handy shop and cafe. We did two of the woodland walks and were very lucky with the mixed weather. In contrast to the lush greenery, we'd be keen to return later in the year, see the autumn colours of the bracken, definitely stay for longer.

Nothing to dislike.

Everything you need for self catering thought about. Including excellent shortcake and milk in the fridge with coffee and tea packets. Charming village and a warm welcome from hosts carol and peta.

I couldn’t find the general rubbish bin inside the apartment! Small worry for lovely self contained flat.
