Dark and a little tired

The location is good and the bedroom is comfortable with good storage.

Very difficult to find - no directions given and no sign on the building. It would have been easy to say "go to the Contented Sole pub and ask for the keys". I had to wander around and guess! The kitchen equipment (glasses etc) were not clean and the drying up cloth & dish cloth were dirty & smelly. No instructions about what to do with rubbish. The video player didn't work and the TV remote was not working properly. No extractor in the toilet/shower, mould in the shower. Downstairs floor lifting in places. The towels hadn't been properly laundered and were smelly when used. This hasn't 'recently been refurbished'.

We checked in and checked out within the hour getting a full refund.

A total disappointment, so unfair to have let us travel six hours for a rental not as described. We arrived to an unmade bed, stained carpets, sofas, walls. We did get a total refund but then had a struggle to get accommodation for our two night stay in the area.

The apartment was lovely and cosy, it had everything you need for a break, Comfy settee, TV, dvds, books, all kitchenware to cook, iron, towels, linen etc. All Shops, Pubs, Restaurants, Cafes, Takeouts and Leisure was only a 2 minute walk away along with the beach and the harbour were you could feed the seals and book a boat ride, we went on a Ribtrip for an hour and enjoyed every minute of it an exceptional experience, this is a definite trip while visiting eyemouth you won't be disappointed. Loads of things to do and see and everyone very friendly, I would recommend to anyone thinking of going there. We had a very relaxing 4 day break and enjoyed it, we will be returning again. x
