Great location with all the amenities you could walk.

it was only around 10 minutes from Kirkwell. Which was teaming for tourists, so that made us happy to be away from the crowds, but perhaps some people would like to be closer to the urban center.

"Lovely smart well-placed and comfortable apartment- perfect for two."

The whole place was welcoming and smart in its decor. The lovely welcome hamper was much appreciated as was the well resourced kitchen and bathroom. The host made sure we were happily settled in on our arrival. Being in the ‘middle’ of the island meant that travel to all the sites was easy. The great local shop provided us with all we needed and more.

On our arrival there were temporary road works but it wasn’t a problem and we could happily sit by the shore which was lovely. This type of work has to happen at some point!

"Great location, wonderful view"

Lovely place and a lovely location. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed. There was a nice welcome basket, which was vey welcome! We were able to have a cup of tea and relax after a day of travelling. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. Loved the toilet seat! A great place to stay to explore the island and a lovely host who came and introduced herself. Plenty of information about of things to do and places to eat.

Nothing really. The chairs in the living area were not what we would normally sit on, but they were great to sit and look out at the view.

"A brilliant stay on Orkney"

Everything! just stay here you won’t regret it ! A brilliant set up , feels like your own little house , very comfortable and welcoming place. Sarah has it set up really well , there is a basket of goodies waiting for you , bread , marmalade, milk in the fridge, fudge and Orkney oat cakes. Washing machine was a god send halfway through our trip , clothes airer, great bathroom and comfy bed . Heating was brilliant and easy to use . A welcome card giving you very handy information. Some really thoughtful but simple things provided by the owner like washing detergent for one load of clothes. cannot recommend highly enough for your stay on Orkney ! thanks Sarah
