Clean, very nicely decorated, cosy and comfortable. Very good heating. Lovely water view outside. Amazing value for money, will be back!

The bedroom was nice and spacious. Shower great. Plenty of space for parking

Kitchen and sitting area rather cramped. Not a lot of workspace for food prep

A beautiful place to stay. Only small however was perfect for the two of us, nice and cosy. Great bed and had everything we needed for a short stay to tour the island. The owner was always in contact and we knew where she was if needed.

A full length mirror would have been perfect, but no issue really.

A great place to relax on a busy traveling schedule. Easy drive or public transport to anywhere on Orkney. Lovely welcome hamper.

I had trouble locking the door.

The cottage was perfect & on first entering the property there was a lovely food hamper which was a very nice touch that you don’t see very often. it was like a home from home with all the amenities needed for a self catering holiday, Inc fully equipped kitchen, microwave, hot plate, toaster, air fryer & all the pots & pans etc & a washing machine if needed & a freeview Tv with Netflix etc & off road car parking & not forgetting the view of the bay out of the front that you’re greeted with when you open the curtains each morning. It’s also in a perfect location approx half way between Stromness & Kirkwall & surrounded by Neolithic sites in every direction. Thank you Sarah for a great holiday, you really are a perfect host.

There’s nothing to dislike about this cottage

Loved the location, parking was great. We had everything we required so it made our few days very pleasant. We were left a basket with biscuits and bread, fridge had milk and small butter pats, a lovely touch. Cleaning materials were in the cupboard for our use. All in all a very considerate host.

I don’t like to say this but feel it is necessary. We were not happy at all about the bed, wasn’t comfortable.
