Reasonably clean and tidy apartment

Rubbish left outside entrance door - stairwell in poor repair. Parking restricted outside apartment - it was unclear where we could park - eventually worked out where we could park close by however managed to get 2 parking tickets

Place needs going over and make sure everything is in good order. Needs more photos to describe in detail. access stair rickety....more like walking up a pile of loose boulders near the top.....not for the drunk or unsteady !

The location was perfect for exploring Scotland and easy driving distance from Edinburgh and Glasgow. Quiet location with good facilities within walking distance. Met a few other occupants of the building, who were very friendly. The street outside the Apartment block has restricted parking during certain hours, so had to aware of that, but after 6pm and all weekend, you are able to park right outside with plenty of space.

Friday and Saturday nights seem to be a popular evening at the Masons Lodge across the street. The Apartment is on the 3rd floor and the stairs are curved, very old and worn, in wet weather, extreme caution is needed to go up and come down have liked some kind of welcome folder/file with information on the area (Shops/Restaurants/Take Outs etc, map of the parking conditions and some general info about the stay like where to put rubbish when full.

Price, location, clean, big apartment

Possibly not ideal for people with mobility issues. Apartment was located up 2 flights of stairs. Not a major issue for us, but might be if you struggle with mobility.

The beds were comfy

It was very basic, the sofa was really uncomfortable, it was in need of a deep clean everywhere. The oven and grill pan were disgustingly filthy. The did resolve the fact they gave us the incorrect entry code after we had worked out what it was while standing in the rain for 15 minutes. They did supply us more loo rolls, pillow cases and dinner plates as there weren’t enough for 4 people staying. The apartment was so basic and the kitchen equipment was scratched and worn. There were no tongs, no oven gloves, no basic coffee or tea bags and the mugs were chipped. Just not worthy of somewhere you pay for. Won’t be staying again

Quiet neighborhood, super comfy beds and nice soaking tub.

It is an older building, so there are little things that come with that. But nothing that affected our stay.

Man in flat below met us coming up the stairs we hadn't even got into the apartment he told us that we need to be quite at all times and not to make a noise this was very off putting and made are stay very uncomfortable so will not be re booking
