Great location, lovely space and comfortable.

The hosts insisted on a damage deposit be paid outside of Booking.com. I checked with Booking.com if this was legit and they said it was. I had a lengthy conversation with the host about my anxiety around doing this. When the time came to return the deposit the host did not, stopped replying to me and I had to call Booking.com to resolve it. They lied to booking.com agent and said I hadn't given any bank details to return it to, but I got the refund while still on the phone with Booking.com. This was 10 days after check out and I'm sure they'd have kept it longer if I had left it. It's a shame because I loved the apartment but I wouldn't go back because of this.

Great location and very comfortable

The location is brilliant, and having parking available was a big plus.

We did have to contact the host for some basic things like the Wi-Fi details and loo roll. These were provided promptly, we also requested a tea towel and that never arrived, so we sorted that out ourselves. I was surprised there wasn’t more information provided about accessibility - it’s reached via an external iron staircase, which was quite slippery when it rained. This wasn’t a problem for us, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with mobility issues and it really should be made clear in the property description. There was also no information booklet about the property or check-out instructions, and we had to chase the return of our deposit.

Location was perfect. Also the benefit of having parking was great Very spacious everything u needed Will the owner was quick with our requests.

Not much we didn't like. Only thing was the stairs at night leading into the property other than it was great Would definitely stay again.

Good location very close to Hastings old town. Within walking distance of beach, pubs, shops and restaurants. Great to have a car parking space. Responsive hosts. Good value for money.

Seagulls have decimated the stairs leading up to the front door. Definitely could have been cleaner throughout the property too. Used towel in bedroom and stained bedsheets. Overall interior was a little tired, but if you're here just as a place to sleep its good value in a good part of town.

Excellent location. Spacious apartment. We were very impressed with how clean the bathroom was and how comfy the beds were.

Overall this apartment was good but certain things you would expect were missed. Little touches that are appreciated and you would expect from a place at this price point. E.g. no tea towels or kitchen roll, so we had to buy some. No information on how to park (the info in the email said there would be a parking slip, so this was confusing) and no WiFi code. Had to text host for this. So not a big deal just quite standard. Hand wash in kitchen basically empty. Not refilled. The bathroom was incredibly clean but the bin hadn't been emptied from previous guests. Nearly finished toiletries left in the shower, felt like using someone's home bathroom. The upstairs toilet doesn't flush at all. We had to manually flush it with a bucket. The biggest thing though was the access to the apartment, up some metal stairs (which was fine) but the whole thing and the front door is complete covered in bird poo, and disgustingly so. I can understand the floor being left more but there's an awful lot of poo on the door and near where you have to touch the handle and access the lock. I'm 7 months pregnant and this was alarming me re. Infection. I cleaned the handles and the key after every use. For a commercial property I cannot understand why you wouldn't intermittently clean the door and area. Not just some poo - a LOT of poo. Overall we enjoyed our stay just surprising things had been missed that we totally expected of accommodation of this price
